When to go

MeteoSwiss lists July normals for its Zürich Fluntern station, including summer days and heat days, so compare them with June and September when you choose a month and check a forecast before you go. Zürich Tourism's event highlights name the Caliente Latin festival early in the month, and its traditions page describes the Schifferstechen, a boatmen's jousting custom on the Limmat that it says is held only every three years. Check those dates against your trip.
