RovePort is free to use. We are paid by travel companies. When you click a link on our site and then book with that company, it may pay us a commission.

What it means for your price

The travel company sets the price. We do not add anything to it, and we never take payment from you.

How the links work

Links to travel companies go through roveport.com/go/ first, so the company can tell the visit came from us. Those links are marked as sponsored for search engines. Every page with such a link carries a short version of this disclosure, next to the link or at the foot of the page.

Which companies we show

We do not show every company. While we apply to affiliate programs, links to companies that have not accepted us yet appear only on preview pages, which search engines do not index and the rest of the site does not link to. Pages we publish link only to companies whose programs have accepted us. A section with no accepted company shows its tips without a link. Each section links to at most one company: the first accepted program in our list for that part of a trip.

Which company a section shows can depend on which programs have accepted us and what they pay.

Our trip information

Each trip fact links to its source and shows the date we last checked it. Travel companies do not pay for, choose or review those facts.

Insurance

RovePort is not an insurance company, agent or broker. Where we link to an insurer or a marketplace, the quote, the purchase and any claim happen with them.
