Venice in June
When to go
June in Venice brings mild to warm days and some rain days in the climate normals listed here, so check a forecast closer to your dates. The national Republic Day holiday falls at the start of the month, so check opening hours around it. The city's access-fee site says its trial period has ended and that any fee in later years is for the city to decide, so check that site before you travel, especially for a day trip.

Flights
From Marco Polo Airport, Alilaguna's water-bus fares include one large bag and one hand bag, while the city transport company's standard timed tickets and day passes exclude travel to and from the airport, so check which ticket covers your transfer. For entry, the EU's official travel site says the Entry/Exit System is fully operational at external border crossing points and that ETIAS is not in operation, so check that site and the State Department's page for Italy before you go. Check the airlines directly for current flight and route information.
