When to go

July is high summer in Toronto. Environment and Climate Change Canada's most recent normals for the Toronto City station list the month's typical highs and lows, its rain days and the many days when the humidex runs high, so plan shade and water for afternoons outdoors and check the forecast close to your dates. Canada Day, on the first of the month, is one of Ontario's public holidays, so check opening hours around it. Destination Toronto lists the Toronto Jazz Festival and Salsa in Toronto in July.
