When to go

The Dvořák Prague International Music Festival runs through much of the month with the Rudolfinum as its main venue, and the Czech Statehood Day public holiday falls near the end of the month, so check both against your dates. The WMO climate table lists the month's daily high and low and its precipitation, so pack layers for a range of temperatures and some rain.

Flights

Václav Havel Airport Prague is the city's international airport. The EU's travel site lists Czechia among the countries using the Entry/Exit System, says the system is fully operational, defines what counts as a short stay, and says ETIAS is not currently in operation; read those pages and the State Department's page for Czechia before you travel. Compare flight times and connections on the airlines' own pages.

Getting around

The airport recommends its trolleybus to Veleslavín and a change to metro Line A as the fastest public-transport route to the city centre, and it says to buy a ticket before boarding. The Prague Public Transit Company's fare list shows regular and in-app prices for its short-term time tickets, so compare them with how often you plan to ride, and check timetables for the Statehood Day holiday. The Czech National Bank says exchange rates differ between bureaux de change, so compare the posted rates before you exchange cash.
