When to go

Météo-France publishes June climate normals for Paris-Montsouris, so compare them with July and August when you pick a month. The Fête de la musique falls on June twenty-first, and the City of Paris says the programme across the capital is plentiful as every year, so check the city's site for the current line-up. The city's seasonal heat watch starts at the beginning of June and runs into mid-September, and its heat page is the place to look for cool spots and current guidance.

Flights

Paris Aéroport's site covers both Charles de Gaulle and Orly, so compare the two when you look at flights. It says the RER B serves two stations at Charles de Gaulle, one for terminals one and three and one for the terminal two group, while Orly sits south of the city and has metro line fourteen among its connections. Check the EU's Travel to Europe site before you go: it says the Entry/Exit System is fully operational and that ETIAS is not yet in operation. For current entry requirements, see the State Department's page for France.

Where to stay

The Paris tourist office groups places to stay by area and says each district has its own character, price range and accessibility, naming the Marais, Bastille and the fifteenth arrondissement as examples. Compare areas by walking distance to the places on your list and by how close they are to a metro or RER stop. Check cancellation terms too, and check how the Paris tourist tax is shown, since the tourist office says it must be displayed at the accommodation and appear on the invoice.

Getting around

The Paris tourist office says that, mainly in summer, several metro and RER lines can be partly closed or modified for works, so check the status of each line on the days you travel. It points visitors to the Île-de-France Mobilités website for the tickets and travel passes that suit their profile, so compare those options against how many trips you expect to make. From Charles de Gaulle the RER B is one route into the city, and from Orly metro line fourteen is another.
