Montréal in July
When to go
July is the heart of Montréal's summer. Environment and Climate Change Canada's most recent normals for the Montréal-Trudeau station list the month's typical highs and lows, its rain days and the many days when the humidex runs high, so plan shade and water for festival afternoons and check the forecast close to your dates. Canada Day falls on the first of the month. Tourisme Montréal lists the Jazz Festival running into early July, Osheaga at Parc Jean-Drapeau at the very end of the month, and its annual fireworks competition from July to August.
