When to go

April is the last month of the December-through-April whale-watching season that the Los Cabos Tourism Board describes, so check tour dates if whales are on your list. The National Hurricane Center's eastern Pacific season does not start until the middle of May, and the long-term averages the WMO passes along from Mexico's weather service show almost no rain for the month. Mexico's school recess runs into the first days of April, and the tourism board says the Easter season brings local festivities, so compare your dates against both.
