Florence in July
When to go
July brings hot afternoons and few rain days in the climate normals listed here, so check a forecast closer to your dates. The city's official tourism site lists the feast of Sant'Anna late in the month, a celebration of the city's liberation from the Duke of Athens. The Uffizi Galleries ask for clothing suited to a formal museum setting, so read their rules before you pack for a summer visit.
