Cayman Islands in February
When to go
February falls in the Cayman Islands' dry season and well before the Atlantic hurricane season, which the National Hurricane Center starts in June. The Cayman Islands National Weather Service says winter cold fronts can still bring strong winds and rough seas, especially to the western and northern coasts, so compare the highs, lows and rainfall above with the beach and diving days you have in mind. Ash Wednesday is a national public holiday that also features the Agricultural Show, so check the government's list for its date in the year you travel.

Flights
Customs and Border Control requires a passport or other document valid beyond your return date and a paid-up return or onward ticket, and airline staff provide the immigration and customs declaration cards every traveler presents on arrival; keep the immigration card, because you may need it when you leave. Read the agency's entry notice, which warns against traveling with illegal drugs, including THC and CBD products, before you pack, and check the State Department's page for the Cayman Islands for your own situation. Check the airlines directly for current flight and route information.

Getting around
Taxis at the airport are dispatched first come, first served, and most major rental companies sit a short walk across the street.
