The National Cultural Foundation describes Crop Over as a three-month festival that ends with Kadooment Day in August, so check its listings for events during your stay.

Flights
Barbados' Immigration Department requires travelers to complete the online immigration and customs form, which opens shortly before arrival, and to show its receipt on arrival, along with a passport valid for the whole trip, a return ticket, the address where they will stay and evidence of support. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists United States nationals as not needing a visa; read the State Department's page for Barbados as well. Where to stay
The airport operator says Grantley Adams International is in the southeast, about half an hour from the west coast beaches, with the south coast and the city minutes away. Compare a base on the west coast with one on the south coast or close to the city by how far each is from the places you plan to visit. Because June is inside hurricane season, read each stay's change and cancellation terms closely and note what they say about storms.
